    Brenda Godlewski, DVM, Practice Owner

She is the founder and chief veterinarian of Lansdowne Animal Hospital. Her veterinary degree was earned from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Although originally from New York, she has lived and practiced in the northern Virgina area since 1998.

After practicing at a busy, DC Metro small animal hospital for a few years, she began working as a "relief" veterinarian. In this capacity she had the opportunity to work as a visiting vet in over 30 different area animal hospitals including emergency clinics, gaining valuable experience.

She enjoys most aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in surgery and client education. The opening of Lansdowne Animal Hospital will give her the opportunity to have continuity of care of her patients, and establish ongoing relationships with her clients.

She has a particular fondness for huskies and was fortunate to have spent 15 years with her beloved Io, a husky-malamute mix. Sassy, a 14 year old tortoie cat, is currently the only furry family member. Dr Godlewski also has three children - two boys and the most recent addition was a baby girl!
